This pattern is for a crocheted beanie hat. I wrote this pattern to include all sizes. Each beanie in this pattern will have the average fit, not ease and no slouch hardly. It is perfect for learning how to crochet in the round ( a circle) and it is a breeze to work up. It includes the double crochet stitch.

What you will need

A ball of red heart yarn or some like it, AUS 10 ply, UK Aran


A tapestry needle
Crochet hook, size I, 5.5 mm.
Measuring tape

The Gauge Swatch
Chain 10 and double crochet across for 7 rows. This should measure 4 inches by 4 inches. If you don’t get gauge, try upsizing or downsizing your hook. Everyone’s tension is different, and some yarns are different too.
